One of the things to know about the Xerox XC23 printer using Xerox XC23 toner is that this is actually a copier and printer. This model is also no longer available new, so, if you are in the market for this model, you will be purchasing a used one. That may be exactly what you want though, so below you will find some of the basic information on this particular model.
The first thing to note is that this model is in fact a copier and a printer. It will not have the same speed as a stand alone printer, so the page per minute is not as high as you might expect from a printer alone. But at 23 ppm for a copier, this model does have a pretty decent print speed. It is a black and white print and copy, so this would not work if you need color copies.
This printer comes with all the basics, including an automatic document feeder, stapler, and collator. The collator is in the form of sorting bins. There is no binder available for this model. The maximum monthly volume of this unit is 20,000 sheets, so it has a fairly high productivity rate. This model also has an automatic input of 750 sheets, or if you prefer manual input, it can hold 50 sheets.
This particular printer uses a light lens. It also uses standard cartridges that you can purchase from the Internet. It should be noted that this printer is not really meant for home use. Weighing in at 152 pounds this would best serve a business.
You are allowed to preset up to 99 multiple copies at a time without resetting. This feature can be a huge time saver. You also have five different preset sizing options, for enlarging or reducing the sizes of your images. Another handy feature that can save you money when it comes to buying paper.
Again, this is a larger unit, and is geared more toward small business use. But if you have the space, it would not be unheard of to use this model in your home office. Weighing in at 152 pounds, and measuring at 35.5 x 24.2 x 22 inches, it isn’t extremely large, but it’s not very small either. Depending on what you need it for, considering you would be paying a reduced price for it, it might be fine for your personal use.
All in all, this does seem to be a pretty efficient machine.
